Organic Baby Clothes TOPEKA

Long before I had my first child, I never believed I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a new mother, talking to other mothers about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the latest baby clothes we have picked up.

I usually meet with 2 other women, once a fortnight, to find out the latest new. We often meet at LA Siesta Restaurant (which is in TOPEKA, KS) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was more eye opening seeing we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been giving my baby organic food from the start but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular crops in the US and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has destroyed the environment and particularly water supplies. Organic produce is grown without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.

You can get soft organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Buying organic products means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, fewer cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Many wholesalers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find retailers entirely devoted to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to older children. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
