Organic Baby Clothes SPOKANE

Long before I had my first child, I never really imagined I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a mother, chatting to other mothers about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to discuss the most recent baby clothes we have purchased.
I more often than not go out with 2 other women, once a week, to find out the latest happenings. We generally meet at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar - South Hi (which is in SPOKANE, WA) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was particularly exciting seeing we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby girl organic meals from the start but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular plants in America and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farmers. The run off from these farms has damaged ecosystems and especially water supplies. Organic produce is grown without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.
Benefits of Organic Clothing
Getting organic clothes means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, less cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find companies solely devoted to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to adolescents. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I would not go as far to say that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
