Back before I had my baby, I had not imagined I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mum, talking to other mothers about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. Buying organic clothes means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or reduced use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, reduced cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

Many wholesalers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find companies solely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to teenagers. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I do not think that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.
