Organic Baby Clothes SEATTLE

Before I had my first child, I never really imagined I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mother, chatting to other parents about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to chat about the most recent baby clothes we have picked up.

I usually go out with 3 other parents, once a week, to catch up on the latest new. We generally meet at C C Slaughters North (which is in SEATTLE, WA) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was really exciting seeing we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby boy organic produce from the start but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular crops in the US and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from these farms has ruined the environment and especially water supplies. Organic products are produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.

You can purchase beautiful organic baby apparel online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Buying organic produce means you are getting produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, reduced health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

Several producers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find retailers completely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from toddlers to older children. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I am not saying that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
