Back before I had my first child, I never thought I would join a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mother, talking to other parents about what is going on in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to talk about the most recent baby outfits we have picked up.

I generally get together with 2 other mothers, once a week, to find out the latest new. We generally meet at Parkville Plaza Delicatessen (which is in SAYVILLE, NY) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was really interesting because we chatted about organic baby clothes. Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in the world and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm employees. Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Getting organic clothing means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, less cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Several makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find companies solely committed to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to adolescents. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I do not think that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever it is available.
