Organic Baby Clothes SANTA FE

Back before I had my children, I never thought I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a new mother, talking to other mothers about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to chat about the latest baby clothes we have purchased.
I generally meet with 2 other mothers, once a week, to hear about the latest new. We generally meet at Las Palomas (which is in SANTA FE, NM) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last time was particularly exciting because we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby boy organic food from day one but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in America and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and in particular water ways. Organic cotton is made without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.
You can buy organic baby apparel online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Purchasing organic products means you are getting produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or less use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, reduced cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
A number of wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find shops entirely devoted to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to older children. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I do not think that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.
