Organic Baby Clothes SALEM

Long before I had my children, I had not believed I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mother, chatting to other parents about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to talk about the latest baby outfits we have picked up.
I usually get together with 2 other parents, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest new. We often meet at A Touch of Philly (which is in SALEM, OR) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was really eye opening as we discussed baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic food from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in the US and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has damaged ecosystems and especially water bodies. Organic cotton is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
You can purchase organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Purchasing organic products means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, less cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
Many makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find designers completely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to adolescents. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I am not saying that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever I can.
