Organic Baby Clothes SAINT LOUIS

Back before I had my baby, I never imagined I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I am a mum, chatting to other parents about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to discuss the latest baby outfits we have picked up.

I generally meet with 3 other women, once a month, to catch up on the latest new. We generally meet at Red Sea Restaurant (which is in SAINT LOUIS, MO) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was really exciting because we discussed baby clothes. I have been providing my baby boy organic meals from the beginning but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown crops in the US and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined the environment and especially water supplies. Organic products are produced without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.

You can buy beautiful organic baby outfits online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Purchasing organic produce means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or reduced use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, reduced cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

Several wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find companies solely devoted to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to older children. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
