Organic Baby Clothes SAINT CHARLES

Long before I had my baby, I had not thought I would join a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mother, being able to talk to other women about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to chat about the most recent baby outfits we have picked up.

I generally get together with 3 other mothers, once a month, to catch up on the latest happenings. We often meet at Miguel's On the Fox (which is in SAINT CHARLES, IL) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last week was more exciting seeing we discussed organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby boy organic meals from the start but I had not considered getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular crops in the US and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has damaged habitats and especially water bodies. Organic products are grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.

You can purchase organic cotton baby outfits online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Getting organic products means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or less use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, fewer diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Several wholesalers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find designers completely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to older children. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
