Organic Baby Clothes RUSSELLS POINT

Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 06-09-2009

Before I had my baby, I never thought I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a new mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to talk about the latest baby outfits we have purchased.

I more often than not go out with 3 other women, once a fortnight, to find out the latest gossip. We often meet at Antonio's Restaurante' (which is in RUSSELLS POINT, OH) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last time was really interesting as we discussed baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic produce from day one but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in America and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has ruined habitats and in particular water supplies. Organic produce is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.

You can purchase beautiful organic baby apparel online from a number of shops. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Getting organic produce means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, less cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Many makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find wholesalers completely committed to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to adolescents. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.
