Organic Baby Clothes ROSWELL
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 09-06-2009
Long before I had my baby, I never thought I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mum, being able to talk to other parents about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to chat about the newest baby outfits we have purchased.
I more often than not meet with 4 other women, once a week, to find out the latest happenings. We generally meet at House of Lu 5 (which is in ROSWELL, GA) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was really eye opening as we discussed baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic food from the beginning but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in the US and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has ruined the environment and especially water supplies. Organic produce is produced without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.
You can buy beautiful organic baby clothing online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Buying organic clothes means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or reduced use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, fewer health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.
Many makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find designers entirely committed to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to older children. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I do not think that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.

Yes Kaye, ofcourse all kinks of inorganically produced clothes are harmful to the skins of kids whereas organically produced cotton/clothing are good for their skins. And I always prefer Organic clothes whenever possible.
