Organic Baby Clothes ROCHESTER

Before I had my children, I never thought I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a new mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to discuss the most recent baby outfits we have bought.
I usually go out with 2 other parents, once a week, to catch up on the latest happenings. We usually meet at Atlanta Bread CO (which is in ROCHESTER, NY) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was really eye opening because we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby boy organic produce from day one but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown crops in the world and one of the most devastating to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has damaged habitats and in particular water ways. Organic cotton is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.
You can buy organic cotton baby outfits online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Purchasing organic clothes means you are buying produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and waterways, reduced diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Many wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find shops completely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to older children. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
