Organic Baby Clothes PULASKI

Long before I had my first child, I never thought I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mum, being able to talk to other parents about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to discuss the latest baby outfits we have picked up.
I generally get together with 2 other parents, once a week, to hear about the latest happenings. We generally meet at Jims Steak House (which is in PULASKI, VA) as that is quite central for all of us. Last month was particularly exciting seeing we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby boy organic food from day one but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular products in America and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farmers. The run off from these farms has ruined habitats and especially water supplies. Organic produce is produced without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.
Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Buying organic clothes means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, reduced diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Many retailers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find stores completely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever I can.
