Organic Baby Clothes PORT ARTHUR
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 11-03-2010
Back before I had my children, I never thought I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a mother, talking to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to discuss the latest baby fashions we have bought.
I generally get together with 2 other mothers, once a month, to catch up on the latest new. We usually meet at Rolandos Mexican Restaurant (which is in PORT ARTHUR, TX) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was particularly eye opening seeing we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby girl organic produce from day one but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in the world and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has ruined ecosystems and in particular water bodies. Organic produce is made without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.
You can purchase beautiful organic baby apparel online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Purchasing organic clothing means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, reduced cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find retailers completely committed to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to older children. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I am not saying that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
