Organic Baby Clothes PORT ALLEN

Back before I had my children, I had not imagined I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mum, chatting to other parents about what is going on in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to talk about the latest baby fashions we have picked up.

I more often than not get together with 4 other parents, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest happenings. We generally meet at Waffle House (which is in PORT ALLEN, LA) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was particularly exciting as we chatted about baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic meals from the start but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular plants in America and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has ruined the environment and particularly water bodies. Organic cotton is produced without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.

You can purchase beautiful organic baby clothes online from a number of retailers. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Purchasing organic products means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or reduced use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, less cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.

Quite a few producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find retailers entirely devoted to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from toddlers to adolescents. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
