Organic Baby Clothes PLAINFIELD

Back before I had my baby, I never really believed I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a new mother, talking to other mothers about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to chat about the latest baby outfits we have bought.

I generally get together with 2 other women, once a week, to find out the latest gossip. We generally meet at Hong Kong Star Restaurant (which is in PLAINFIELD, CT) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was really eye opening seeing we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby girl organic meals from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular plants in the world and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has damaged habitats and particularly water supplies. Organic products are produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.

You can get soft organic cotton baby clothes online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Buying organic clothing means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or reduced use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and lakes, reduced health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

Several makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find retailers solely committed to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to older children. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I am not saying that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
