Organic Baby Clothes PINE GROVE

Back before I had my children, I never really believed I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a new mother, chatting to other women about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to discuss the newest baby outfits we have bought.

I usually meet with 2 other mothers, once a week, to catch up on the latest happenings. We often meet at Do's Pizza (which is in PINE GROVE, PA) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was really eye opening as we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby girl organic meals from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown crops in the world and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has destroyed habitats and particularly water ways. Organic cotton is produced without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.

You can get organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of shops. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Getting organic clothing means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, less health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

Several makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find stores completely devoted to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from toddlers to adolescents. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I do not think that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
