Organic Baby Clothes PIEDMONT

Before I had my baby, I never really thought I would join a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mother, chatting to other mothers about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the latest baby outfits we have bought.
I usually go out with 2 other parents, once a fortnight, to find out the latest happenings. We generally meet at Little Italy Pizzaria (which is in PIEDMONT, SC) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last week was more exciting seeing we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby girl organic meals from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in the world and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined habitats and particularly water supplies. Organic products are produced without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic pest control methods.
You can buy soft organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Buying organic produce means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, fewer diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find companies completely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to teenagers. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
