Organic Baby Clothes PHOENIX

Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 03-02-2010

Long before I had my children, I never imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mum, talking to other mothers about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to chat about the latest baby clothes we have picked up.

I more often than not meet with 3 other mothers, once a month, to hear about the latest gossip. We usually meet at Ramiros Mexican Food (which is in PHOENIX, AZ) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was more eye opening because we chatted about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic produce from the beginning but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in America and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has ruined ecosystems and especially water bodies. Organic produce is made without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.

You can buy beautiful organic baby outfits online from a number of shops. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Purchasing organic clothes means you are buying produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, fewer health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothes or you can find stores solely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
