Organic Baby Clothes PHILADELPHIA

Back before I had my first child, I never really believed I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a new mother, talking to other mothers about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to chat about the latest baby clothes we have picked up.

I more often than not get together with 3 other parents, once a month, to find out the latest gossip. We usually meet at Delitown (which is in PHILADELPHIA, PA) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was particularly eye opening because we chatted about baby clothes. I have been providing my baby boy organic meals from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular crops in the US and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has ruined the environment and especially water supplies. Organic products are made without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Rather, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.

You can buy soft organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Buying organic clothes means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and waterways, less diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.

A number of retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find retailers entirely devoted to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from toddlers to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I am not saying that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
