Organic Baby Clothes PHILADELPHIA

Long before I had my baby, I never really believed I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mother, chatting to other parents about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to chat about the latest baby fashions we have picked up.
I generally get together with 3 other mothers, once a week, to hear about the latest new. We usually meet at Bread Winners Delicatessen (which is in PHILADELPHIA, PA) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was more eye opening because we discussed baby clothes. I have been providing my baby girl organic produce from day one but I had not considered getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the world and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed the environment and in particular water bodies. Organic cotton is produced without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.
Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Buying organic clothing means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or less use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, reduced cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find stores solely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I am not saying that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.
