Before I had my baby, I never really thought I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I have become a new mother, talking to other women about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to chat about the newest baby fashions we have bought.
I generally go out with 3 other women, once a fortnight, to find out the latest new. We usually meet at LA Mesa Mexican Restaurant (which is in PAPILLION, NE) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last week was really exciting seeing we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby girl organic food from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular plants in America and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has ruined the environment and in particular water bodies. Organic produce is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Getting organic clothing means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, fewer cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to adolescents. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I am not saying that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
