Organic Baby Clothes ORLANDO
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 20-05-2010
Before I had my baby, I had not believed I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to chat about the latest baby clothes we have bought.
I more often than not get together with 3 other mothers, once a month, to hear about the latest new. We usually meet at Godfather Pizza (which is in ORLANDO, FL) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was particularly eye opening as we chatted about baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic meals from the start but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in the US and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has ruined habitats and in particular water supplies. Organic products are grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.
You can get organic baby outfits online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Buying organic clothes means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and lakes, less diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
A number of retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find designers solely committed to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to adolescents. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I do not think that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever it is available.
