Organic Baby Clothes NEWPORT

Long before I had my first child, I never really imagined I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a mum, talking to other mothers about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to discuss the most recent baby fashions we have picked up.
I more often than not go out with 4 other women, once a week, to hear about the latest happenings. We generally meet at Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant - Reservations Ca (which is in NEWPORT, RI) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was really exciting as we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic produce from the start but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular crops in the US and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from these farms has ruined ecosystems and particularly water ways. Organic products are grown without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.
You can purchase soft organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of stores. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Purchasing organic clothes means you are getting products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, fewer cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
Several producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothing or you can find stores completely committed to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to adolescents. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I am not saying that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
