Organic Baby Clothes NEWARK
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 29-11-2008
Long before I had my children, I had not thought I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a new mother, talking to other women about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to talk about the most recent baby fashions we have bought.
I more often than not go out with 4 other parents, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest gossip. We generally meet at Country Maid Ogletown (which is in NEWARK, DE) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was more eye opening because we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby organic food from day one but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in America and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed habitats and particularly water bodies. Organic cotton is made without the use of artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
You can get organic baby clothes online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Purchasing organic products means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or reduced use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, less health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
Quite a few retailers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find retailers entirely devoted to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to older children. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I am not saying that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever it is available.
