Organic Baby Clothes NEW YORK

Back before I had my first child, I never really believed I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a mum, being able to talk to other mothers about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to talk about the newest baby outfits we have bought.
I generally go out with 3 other parents, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest gossip. We usually meet at F & F Deli & Grocery (which is in NEW YORK, NY) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was more eye opening seeing we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been giving my baby girl organic food from day one but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular crops in the world and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has damaged the environment and particularly water supplies. Organic cotton is produced without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
You can buy beautiful organic baby clothing online from a number of retailers. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Buying organic products means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or less use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, less cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothing or you can find stores completely committed to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to adolescents. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I would not go as far to say that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever it is available.
