Organic Baby Clothes NAPLES

Before I had my baby, I never really thought I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a mother, chatting to other parents about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we love to talk about the newest baby clothes we have picked up.

I more often than not meet with 2 other mothers, once a fortnight, to find out the latest happenings. We generally meet at Courtyard Naples (which is in NAPLES, FL) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was really interesting because we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby boy organic produce from day one but I had not considered getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the world and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed habitats and particularly water bodies. Organic products are grown without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.

You can get beautiful organic baby clothing online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Purchasing organic clothes means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or reduced use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, less health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

A number of retailers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find designers entirely devoted to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever it is available.
