Organic Baby Clothes NAMPA

Before I had my children, I had not believed I would join a mothers group. However, now that I have become a new mother, being able to talk to other women about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to chat about the newest baby clothes we have picked up.

I usually get together with 3 other women, once a week, to find out the latest happenings. We generally meet at El Chalateco (which is in NAMPA, ID) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was particularly eye opening because we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby boy organic food from day one but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular plants in the US and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has ruined habitats and particularly water ways. Organic produce is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Buying organic clothes means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and waterways, reduced cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

Several makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find wholesalers solely devoted to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to adolescents. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever I can.
