Organic Baby Clothes MUNDS PARK
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 13-08-2008
Before I had my baby, I never imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a mother, chatting to other parents about what is going on in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to chat about the latest baby outfits we have purchased.
I more often than not go out with 3 other mothers, once a week, to find out the latest new. We generally meet at Pine Woodys Pizza & Grille (which is in MUNDS PARK, AZ) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was more interesting as we discussed baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby girl organic produce from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in the US and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has ruined habitats and particularly water bodies. Organic products are made without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.
You can get soft organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of retailers. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Buying organic products means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, fewer diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.
Quite a few retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find wholesalers entirely committed to organic baby fashion. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to adolescents. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I am not saying that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
