Organic Baby Clothes MOSINEE

Long before I had my children, I had not imagined I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I have become a new mother, chatting to other women about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the most recent baby fashions we have purchased.

I more often than not go out with 3 other parents, once a week, to catch up on the latest gossip. We often meet at Baker's Lakeside (which is in MOSINEE, WI) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was more interesting as we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic meals from the beginning but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in the US and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farmers. The run off from these farms has damaged habitats and particularly water bodies. Organic produce is produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Getting organic clothes means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or less use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, less health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.

A number of makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothing or you can find retailers entirely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to teenagers. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I do not think that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever I can.
