Before I had my baby, I never really believed I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am a mum, chatting to other parents about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we love to chat about the most recent baby clothes we have picked up.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Getting organic clothing means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or less use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, less cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Several makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothes or you can find companies entirely committed to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to older children. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I do not think that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever it is available.
