Organic Baby Clothes MINNEAPOLIS

Before I had my first child, I had not believed I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I am a mother, chatting to other parents about what is going on in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to talk about the latest baby clothes we have purchased.
I generally meet with 2 other mothers, once a month, to catch up on the latest gossip. We usually meet at Jasmine Deli (which is in MINNEAPOLIS, MN) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was really exciting because we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby girl organic produce from the start but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in America and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed the environment and particularly water supplies. Organic cotton is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
Benefits of Organic Clothing
Purchasing organic clothes means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or less use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and waterways, less cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
Several makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find wholesalers completely committed to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to older children. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I am not saying that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever I can.
