Back before I had my children, I never really imagined I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a new mother, chatting to other mothers about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we love to discuss the newest baby clothes we have picked up.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Purchasing organic products means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or reduced use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, less diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

A number of retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find stores solely devoted to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to adolescents. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever I can.
