Before I had my children, I had not believed I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. Getting organic products means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, reduced health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.
