Organic Baby Clothes MANILA

Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 20-07-2008

Before I had my baby, I never really thought I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mum, talking to other women about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to talk about the newest baby fashions we have bought.

I usually get together with 3 other parents, once a week, to find out the latest new. We often meet at Rainbow Inn (which is in MANILA, UT) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was really eye opening because we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic food from day one but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in the US and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed the environment and especially water supplies. Organic products are grown without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.

You can purchase beautiful organic baby outfits online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Buying organic clothing means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, fewer health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.

Several wholesalers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find shops solely committed to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to older children. Naturally, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I am not saying that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
