Long before I had my children, I never thought I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. No or less use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, less health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
