Organic Baby Clothes LOS ANGELES

Before I had my baby, I never really believed I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a new mother, talking to other parents about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to discuss the newest baby outfits we have bought.

I more often than not meet with 4 other mothers, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest gossip. We often meet at LA Chapincita Central America Food (which is in LOS ANGELES, CA) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was really interesting because we talked about baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic produce from the start but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular crops in the world and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has damaged ecosystems and especially water ways. Organic cotton is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.

You can get soft organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Getting organic clothing means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or less use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and rivers, less diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.

Several wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothes or you can find designers completely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to adolescents. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever I can.
