Organic Baby Clothes LENOIR CITY

Before I had my first child, I never imagined I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a new mother, talking to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to talk about the newest baby outfits we have bought.

I usually get together with 3 other parents, once a week, to find out the latest happenings. We generally meet at Econo Lodge Lenoir City (which is in LENOIR CITY, TN) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last week was more interesting seeing we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been giving my baby boy organic produce from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown products in the world and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has damaged ecosystems and particularly water supplies. Organic produce is grown without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic pest control practices.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Purchasing organic products means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, reduced cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

A number of makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find designers solely devoted to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to adolescents. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever I can.
