Organic Baby Clothes JESUP

Back before I had my children, I never really imagined I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a new mother, talking to other women about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to talk about the latest baby outfits we have purchased.

I generally get together with 2 other parents, once a fortnight, to find out the latest happenings. We usually meet at Rooks Restaurant (which is in JESUP, GA) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was particularly interesting seeing we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby boy organic meals from day one but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in America and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has ruined habitats and especially water supplies. Organic produce is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Buying organic clothing means you are getting products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or less use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, less diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

Many wholesalers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find wholesalers entirely devoted to organic baby fashion. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to adolescents. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
