Organic Baby Clothes INDIANAPOLIS

Back before I had my first child, I never believed I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a mum, talking to other parents about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to discuss the most recent baby fashions we have picked up.
I usually go out with 3 other parents, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest gossip. We generally meet at W W Ribs (which is in INDIANAPOLIS, IN) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was more interesting as we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic meals from day one but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in the world and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has damaged the environment and especially water supplies. Organic cotton is made without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.
Benefits of Organic Clothing
Purchasing organic clothing means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or less use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, fewer diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
Quite a few producers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothes or you can find retailers entirely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to adolescents. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I am not saying that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
