Back before I had my baby, I had not thought I would join a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a new mother, chatting to other women about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to talk about the latest baby clothes we have bought.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Purchasing organic clothing means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or less use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, less cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

Many producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find stores entirely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to older children. Naturally, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
