Back before I had my baby, I never really thought I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a new mother, talking to other parents about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. Buying organic produce means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, less diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Several makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find retailers solely devoted to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to adolescents. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I do not think that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
