Organic Baby Clothes HARTFORD

Back before I had my children, I never really believed I would join a mothers group. However, now that I am a mother, talking to other women about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to chat about the latest baby fashions we have bought.
I generally get together with 3 other parents, once a fortnight, to find out the latest new. We often meet at Phillips Country Kitchen - Restaurant (which is in HARTFORD, CT) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was particularly exciting because we chatted about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic meals from the start but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown products in the US and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has destroyed ecosystems and particularly water bodies. Organic products are produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
You can purchase organic baby clothes online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Purchasing organic produce means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or reduced use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, reduced cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Many wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find shops solely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to older children. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
