Organic Baby Clothes HAMLIN

Back before I had my first child, I never really believed I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mother, chatting to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to discuss the newest baby clothes we have picked up.
I usually get together with 3 other parents, once a week, to catch up on the latest new. We usually meet at Dairy Queen of Hamlin (which is in HAMLIN, TX) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last week was particularly eye opening as we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby organic produce from the start but it had never crossed my mind to buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in the world and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed habitats and in particular water supplies. Organic cotton is produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic pest control methods.
Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Buying organic clothes means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or reduced use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, less health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.
Several makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find companies entirely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from toddlers to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I am not saying that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
