Back before I had my first child, I never believed I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mother, chatting to other parents about what is happening in my life has really helped me. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, less health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
