Organic Baby Clothes FORT THOMAS
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 18-06-2008
Back before I had my baby, I had not imagined I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a new mother, chatting to other parents about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to discuss the latest baby outfits we have purchased.
I more often than not go out with 3 other parents, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest gossip. We usually meet at FT Thomas Pizza Carry Out (which is in FORT THOMAS, KY) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was more interesting as we talked about baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby girl organic meals from day one but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in America and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has ruined the environment and especially water ways. Organic produce is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.
You can get organic cotton baby outfits online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Getting organic clothing means you are getting products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, less cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
A number of wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find companies completely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to teenagers. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I would not go as far to say that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
