Organic Baby Clothes FORT MYERS
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 21-01-2010
Back before I had my baby, I never really believed I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to talk about the most recent baby outfits we have picked up.
I usually meet with 4 other parents, once a month, to find out the latest gossip. We often meet at La Quinta Inn Fort Myers (which is in FORT MYERS, FL) as that is quite central for all of us. Last month was particularly eye opening seeing we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby girl organic produce from the start but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular plants in the world and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and particularly water supplies. Organic produce is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Rather, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.
You can buy organic cotton baby outfits online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Buying organic produce means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or reduced use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, fewer health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find companies solely devoted to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to teenagers. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I do not think that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
