Organic Baby Clothes FOLSOM

Long before I had my baby, I had not believed I would join a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mum, talking to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to discuss the most recent baby fashions we have bought.
I generally meet with 3 other women, once a month, to hear about the latest happenings. We usually meet at Lee's Hoagie House (which is in FOLSOM, PA) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was particularly interesting because we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby girl organic food from day one but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular products in America and one of the most devastating to the ecosystem and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has ruined the environment and in particular water ways. Organic produce is produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.
You can buy organic baby apparel online from a number of retailers. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Getting organic clothing means you are getting products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or less use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, fewer health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Many makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find retailers completely committed to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I am not saying that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
