Organic Baby Clothes ELEANOR

Long before I had my children, I had not thought I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a mother, chatting to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to talk about the latest baby fashions we have bought.

I generally get together with 2 other mothers, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest happenings. We generally meet at Gino's Pizza & Spaghetti House (which is in ELEANOR, WV) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was more exciting because we chatted about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby girl organic produce from day one but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular products in America and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has ruined habitats and particularly water supplies. Organic cotton is produced without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Buying organic produce means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, less health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothing or you can find companies entirely committed to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to teenagers. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I would not go as far to say that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
