Organic Baby Clothes EATONTOWN

Before I had my children, I never really imagined I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I have become a new mother, being able to talk to other women about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to talk about the latest baby outfits we have bought.
I more often than not go out with 3 other parents, once a week, to find out the latest new. We often meet at SAWA Steakhouse & Sushi Bar (which is in EATONTOWN, NJ) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was more eye opening as we chatted about baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby girl organic food from the beginning but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in America and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined habitats and particularly water supplies. Organic produce is produced without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.
Benefits of Organic Clothing
Buying organic clothing means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, less cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
Many producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find designers solely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from toddlers to older children. Naturally, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I am not saying that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
